Carol Gershon joined the Board of Trustees in 2019.
Carol is a partner at Blank Rome and represents clients in a wide array of commercial financing transactions, including construction loans, loan modifications and work-outs, and mortgage financing. She negotiates, reviews, and drafts a broad range of commercial contracts, including construction contracts, third party consultant contracts, management agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and leases. Carol also advises clients on organizational structuring, as well as identifies potential issues with respect to tax, local law or environmental compliance.
Carol is a graduate of Drexel University, The College of New Jersey, and Rutgers University School of Law, Camden. While in law school, Carol served as Managing Editor of the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion and as a member of the Hunter Moot Court Board. She was the recipient of many awards, including the “Best Brief” honors at the National Moot Court Competition, Region III, Best Oralist and Overall Winner in the Hunter Moot Court Competition and the Center for Forensic Studies Excellence in Litigation Award. In 2010, Carol received an Excellence Award from the Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network.
