Wesley Payne serves on the Board in his role as Chancellor-Elect of the Philadelphia Bar Association.
Wes is a partner at White and Williams LLP and serves as the chair of their Diversity Committee and co-chair of their Pro Bono Committee. He has over 30 years of experience as a trial lawyer and an advisor to insurance carriers and self-insured corporations on complex litigation issues. Wes has tried a number of high exposure cases in various jurisdictions throughout the country to jury verdict and through appeal in state and federal courts, and has a a proven track record of achieving successful results for his insurance clients in insurance coverage and bad faith disputes.
Wes is active in the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania legal communities, as well as Philadelphia's nonprofit sector. He currently serves as President of the Bethesda Project, sits on the Board of the Homeless Advocacy Project, one of our nonprofit partners, and is a past President of the Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network, among many other volunteer endeavors. Wes has been an active member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and Philadelphia Bar Association throughout his career.
