Brandi J. W. Ray - Director of Programs

Brandi J. W. Ray joined the Philadelphia Bar Foundation in 2023 as the Community Liaison for the Equal Justice Center. In 2024, she was promoted to the program’s Program and Outreach Manager, overseeing its development, strategy, and engagement initiatives.
Brandi now serves as Director of Programs for the Philadelphia Bar Foundation, overseeing all Foundation programs, including the Equal Justice Center. In this role, she supports the Foundation’s mission by advancing equitable access to justice through its strategic initiatives.
Beginning her career as a case manager in the social services field, Brandi developed a strong foundation in working with individuals across diverse demographics and backgrounds. Through successive leadership roles, she gained experience in strategic planning, project management, youth mentoring and programming, mental health and substance abuse prevention, community engagement, and nonprofit leadership.
Brandi holds bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Anthropology, as well as master’s degrees in Forensic Psychology and Divinity. A licensed minister, she is currently completing her dissertation for a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies.
