Christie R. Jones

christieChristie R. Jones is the Executive Director of the Philadelphia Bar Association as of July 1. A Philadelphia native and lifelong advocate for justice, Jones brings extensive leadership experience in global legal communities and nonprofit administration.

She most recently served as Executive Director of the International Association of Women Judges (IAWJ), where she led the organization through a period of significant growth. During her tenure, she increased membership by 81%, secured a multi-year $2.5 million grant from the Gates Foundation, and planned and executed three international conferences convening more than 3,000 members and 150 stakeholders from around the world.

Jones previously held leadership roles as Deputy Director of the Center for Infrastructure Protection and Homeland Security and has served as an adjunct lecturer at American University’s School of International Service. A graduate of Bennett College and George Mason University, she brings deep expertise in organizational strategy, global engagement, and mission-driven leadership.

Rooted in her Philadelphia upbringing and the example set by her father, a lawyer in the city, Jones is committed to advancing the rule of law and strengthening access to justice.
