International Law Lyon Internship Fund (ILLI Fund)

The International Law Lyon Internship Fund (ILLI Fund), established by the Philadelphia Bar Foundation and the Philadelphia Bar Association’s International Law Committee, provides stipends to Philadelphia-area law students participating in the Bar Association’s summer internship exchange program with the Lyon Bar Association in France. By helping cover expenses for American students interning abroad, the fund broadens access to this opportunity for a more diverse pool of future legal professionals. The program also hosts French interns in Philadelphia, where they engage in legal practice and public interest work. Through this international exchange, the Bar Foundation and Association advance shared goals of promoting diversity in the legal profession and deepening understanding of global approaches to legal aid and access to justice.
