2013 - New Faces, Fresh Ideas

Deborah Gross begins her two-year term as President of the Philadelphia Bar Foundation.   Deborah has been a member of the Board of Trustees since 2004 and was Vice President in 2009 and President-Elect in 2012. She is an attorney at the Law Offices of Bernard M. Gross PC and is an expert on class action.

There are also a number of new faces on the Board of Trustees this year who will bring new energy and fresh ideas: Meredith Auten from Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, Linsey Bozzelli from Blank Rome LLP, Bob Hart from PNC Financial Services, Robert Louis from Saul Ewing, Stephen Raynes from Raynes McCarty, and Larry Walker from Cozen O’Conner.  In addition, Kevin Golden from Cozen O’Conner will be our YLD Board Observer in 2013.

We also want to extend a warm welcome to Jessica R. Hilburn-Holmes, Esq., Executive Director.  Jessica spent several years overseas as an international lawyer and diplomat.  She brings over twenty-five years of legal, managerial and diplomatic experience to the work of the Foundation as well as a life-long commitment to working for equal access to justice.

Finally, our congratulations to Lynne Brown, former Executive Director of the Philadelphia Bar Foundation on her retirement.  Lynne joined the Philadelphia Bar Foundation in October 2007 and provided six years of dedicated service.  Lynne is a skilled administrator who truly believed in the mission of providing access to justice for all. Her dedication, attention to detail and heart will be missed.   We wish her good health and happiness.
