The Philadelphia Bar Foundation is excited to announce the recent addition of Tim Hoban to the Board of Trustees. Hoban is the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Toll Brothers, Inc., a Fortune 500 company headquartered in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, and the nation’s leading builder of luxury homes. He oversees all of Toll Brothers’ legal affairs, including corporate governance, public company disclosures, litigation, corporate transactions, privacy, and regulatory compliance. As Chief Compliance Officer, he chairs a multidisciplinary team of legal, human resources and audit professionals who are responsible for compliance with the company’s Code of Ethics and whose principal charge is to foster a culture of integrity at Toll Brothers. Tim actively champions diversity, equity and inclusion at Toll Brothers, including by serving in visible roles in the company’s PRIDE Network and other employee resource groups and by establishing a D&I Council within the Legal Department. Through partnering with business leaders across the company, he has earned a reputation as a practical and savvy advisor and thoughtful leader.
In 2023, the Toll Brothers Legal Department was honored by Philadelphia VIP with the Justice William J. Brennan Award, in recognition of its pro bono contributions to the Philadelphia community. Tim has also represented multiple nonprofit organizations and low-income residents in Philadelphia, Los Angeles, and San Francisco in various real property disputes.
The Philadelphia Bar Foundation and the Board of Trustees are thrilled to have an experienced, driven, and fierce advocate on the Board.
