Philadelphia Bar Foundation Welcomes Two New Trustees

PHILADELPHIA – The Philadelphia Bar Foundation welcomes Melissa R. Chandy, Esq. and Lisa M. Scidurlo, Esq. to their Board of Trustees. These individuals will utilize their respective expertise to help the Bar Foundation advance their mission of equal access to justice and develop the Equal Justice Center project in Philadelphia.

Melissa is a Partner with Pond Lehocky. In addition to her work protecting the rights of injured workers, she manages the brief writing department in the law firm. In this role, Melissa uses her knowledge to train and teach new associates the nuances of the brief writing processes, to ensure that from start to finish, Pond Lehocky cases are passionately and articulately argued. She also plays an active role in Pond Lehocky’s Summer Associate and Clerkship Program. 

Lisa is Co-Chair of Stevens & Lee’s Labor and Employment Department and has over 20 years of experience focusing exclusively on Labor and Employment issues. She concentrates her practice in all aspects of labor management and employee relations, and frequently lectures on various labor management and employee relations topics including issues related to COVID-19. Lisa served as the very first legal intern for Philadelphia VIP and is currently a member of the Bancroft Board of Directors’ Program Quality Committee.
