Twenty One Interns Selected for ACCGP Diversity Corporate Internship Program

  •

The Association of Corporate Counsel Greater Philadelphia (ACCGP) welcomed twenty-one law students into this year's Diversity Corporate Internship Program.

Aimed at increasing diversity within corporate legal departments, ACCGP invites law students who are members of minority groups traditionally underrepresented in the legal profession to apply to participate in substantive experience and meaningful exposure to the roles and activities of in-house attorneys.

The Diversity Corporate Internship Program places law students with paid summer internships at a variety of prominent corporation’s legal departments. This year's corporate partners include Cigna, Comcast, Fanatics, and Wawa to name a few.

While many corprorate partners are able to directly fund their interns, ACCGP created a fund with the Philadelphia Bar Foundation to ensure that all interns in the Diversity Corporate Internship Programs are compensated. This year, three internships were supported by the fund.

This year's Diversity Corporate Internship class includes law students from all local law school, including Drexel University Kline School of Law, Penn State Law, Rutgers Law School, Temple University Beasley School of Law, University of Pennsylvania Law School, Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, and Widener University School of Law.
