The Board Observer Program, a collaboration between the Philadelphia Bar Foundation, the Delivery of Legal Services Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association, and the Young Lawyers Division of the Philadelphia Bar Association (YLD), provides a unique opportunity for young lawyers to volunteer and serve of the boards of local non-profit organizations for one year.

Bar Foundation Trustee Nick LePore, managing partner of Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis, welcomed this year’s participants to the program. Michaella Tassinari, Chair of the YLD, spoke about her experience as a Board Observer with our non-profit partner, Justice at Work. Michaella had such a positive experience as a Board Observer that she now serves as secretary of Justice at Work’s board.
