Chancellor-Elect, Philadelphia Bar Association; Co-Chair Access to Justice Annual Event
Marc Zucker joined the Board of Trustees in 2021 as the Vice Chancellor of the Philadelphia Bar Association.
Marc is a partner at Weir & Partners LLP, where he focuses on complex commercial litigation, alternate dispute resolution and appellate advocacy. Marc routinely litigates disputes involving high-level contract, corporate, construction, real estate, banking, insurance and related matters in state and federal court. He also serves as a neutral arbitrator and mediator, handling complex commercial and consumer cases for the American Arbitration Association and elsewhere.
Marc previously served as chair and vice chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Board of Governors, as well as its secretary and treasurer. He is an active member of its Access to Justice task force and its Judicial Commission, among other committees. Marc serves as an adjunct professor of law at Villanova University School of Law, which awarded him its alumni service award. He chairs the Pennsylvania Jewish Coalition, which represents the interests of Jewish Federations across Pennsylvania in Harrisburg, sits on the national board of the Jewish Council for Public Affairs, the Volunteers for the Indigent (ex officio) and the Public Interest Law Center of Philadelphia (ex officio) and served for many years as a board member and trustee of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia.
