2022 Pennies for Pearls Pop-Up Fundraiser

THE PHILADELPHIA BAR FOUNDATION’s “PENNIES FOR PEARLS” CAMPAIGN IS BACK!

THIS YEAR IN HONOR OF SUPREME COURT JUSTICE KETANJI BROWN JACKSON!

Grab your pearls anytime through the end of the year, as we celebrate our first female African American Supreme Court Justice, the Honorable Ketanji Brown Jackson.

To join us, participants just need to make a donation and snap a photo of themselves wearing pearls in honor of all women, past and present, who have worked tirelessly (and continue to work tirelessly) to make this world and our country a better place. Everyone is encouraged to participate.

About this fundraiser:
Launched by the Bar Foundation's Vice President and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer Niki Ingram, the Pennies for Pearls campaign is an easy way to raise awareness about the Bar Foundation and celebrate the achievements of women and the communities that support them and who thrive because of them. Your donations will support the Bar Foundation's 2022 grantmaking efforts. The Foundation provides critical unrestricted annual grants to nearly 40 civil legal aid organizations doing vital work in Philadelphia and throughout Pennsylvania.

Who should participate?
All are welcome to participate! You are encouraged to extend this invitation to your colleagues, friends, and member-groups.

When should we participate?
This is a multi-week fundraiser that you can join at any time from now until the fthe end of the year. If you are working with a group, feel free to gather in a Zoom and take a group screenshot!
