Military Assistance Project

Providing free legal services for active duty, reserve component, or veteran military personnel and their widows/spouses in the form of pro bono consumer and selected veterans administrative law services.

Philadelphia Bar Foundation Grant Impact

The Philadelphia Bar Foundation's partnership is essential to the work Military Assistance Project (MAP) carries out each day to zealously represent a community looking to MAP for representation. Thanks to the Philadelphia Bar Foundation's support, MAP has been able to achieve various successes, such as helping a spouse of a World War II veteran get over $25,000 indebtedness, advocating for a veteran suffering from severe post-traumatic stress and suicidal ideation, and receiving service-connected ratings for two veterans (one at 100%), with back benefits totaling over $10,000 for each individual.
